Another bites the dust

I finished Tess of the d'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy recently. It was super good but super long too. It really related to things today which is what I plan to write my paper on. In the book the poor girl just can't have anything go her way. It is also a very good representation of the saying "it's a small world". It seems when ever something happens it goes back to something else or someone else. I would definitly recommend this book to someone if you have a few weeks to read it because it is seriously like 550 pages. I believe it is the longest book I have ever read but also one of the best.

I agree! I really liked Tess. I fell in love with Thomas Hardy for a while, and that was one of my favorite of his. I also liked Far from the Madding Crowd, but my FAVORITE Hardy book (and one of my favorite all timers) is Jude the Obscure. Heart-wrenching and almost unbearable at times, but soooo well written! I've got a million of the movies based on the books.. including Tess if you want to borrow it.

Is this the book you should be at Barnes & Nobles that was like a million pages long? If it is I'm glad you liked and it was worth all the time.
