a new kind of reading

I am reading my play right now, which is Our Town by Thornton Wilder, and I really like the way plays are written. They are very easy to follow along with because they like give you the scene and how it is set up then they give you the dialouge without all the added wording. I am not far into the play yet so I don't really know what is going to happen or the main plot of it or if there even is one.

I agree with you about plays. They also are shorter to read compared to the amount of pages. Good luck!

Oh yeah I agree too. Plays don't have the insight into what the characters are thinking to take up space and time. But books are good in their own way too.

Im starting my play after i get it from the library. Im happy to see that plays seem to go by alot faster than the books.

Our Town is a GREAT play! We actually did it at Cascade and Mitchell Smith played the drunken minister... hee hee... I love how the play shows you that it is the small things in life that really make the difference in who you are. I always cry at the end of the play... "just look at me, Momma!".. oh! It always gets me!

So far, my play was the best of my books. The way they are presented makes them much easier reads.

Hope you enjoy it!

I'm going to have to agree with about everyone that the play is the easiest to read. They just kinda stick to getting the point across I guess. Hope you like it!
